The company’s homes also feature radiant heat, new hardwood floors, limestone steps, and quartz countertops.

Brinkman studied architecture at the University of Illinois and Versailles, France, and earned a master’s in finance from the University of Chicago. Before starting his own firm, he worked for JMB, a commercial property development company. He has built more than 170 residences in some of Chicago’s most celebrated and exclusive neighborhoods. The firm’s second partner, Chris McKinnis, has an MBA in finance and real estate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
