Excavation for the pool was entertaining, as the earth had to be carried through the house by a small machine to the street. They created various entertainment spaces at the rear of the ascending site: A blue stone terrace on the ground floor and a mid-level deck with a custom concrete fire pit that is surrounded by a curved ipe bench, and a casual dining area.
