The featured project is located atop a five-acre hill in Waterbury Village. Its largest façade faces south and harvests solar energy. The firm’s team opted for a palette of white stained red cedar shingles coupled with repurposed snow fencing and contemporary sheds. Several reclaimed materials were also employed as well as exposed steel beams. The interiors feature clean, crisp walnut trimmings and a combination of concrete and reclaimed oak. This home attracted quite a bit of attention and was eventually featured in The New York Times.
