As a result they work closely with contractors throughout the construction process to ensure every last detail is meticulously carried through to completion.
As an award-winning design-build firm and construction company, [adapture] provides design and planning services for a variety of projects. Its projects include some of the most distinctive modern homes in Nevada. These include Focal Point, a small but powerful home in Las Vegas.
The home was designed for an amateur photographer and car enthusiast and had to be designed to satisfy both hobbies. A large, black-box showroom and photography studio was located at the back of the lot. This was balanced by the light-filled living spaces that were situated in front. The firm used the concept of a camera lens as they developed the design and layout of the home. Spaces and sequencing were treated much like that of a museum gallery as one moved through the home and viewed pieces of the owner’s own work on display. The home is wrapped in mild, blackened steel panels. A Japanese garden and meditation pool sit between the two buildings.
[adapture] won the 2017 Architecture Single Residence Nevada Award for The Pavilion at the International Property Awards.
