All the finishes are sleek, contemporary, and technologically advanced extensions of their primary level. This project won the 2020 Home Builders Association of St. Louis and Eastern Missouri Award Remodeling Project of the Year, Miscellaneous Project, $250-275,000 Budget.


Schloegel Design Remodel

In 1980, Schloegel Design Remodel, a privately held, locally-owned remodeling business, was established in Kansas City. The co-owner and general manager of the estate solutions branch of Schloegel Design Remodel, Charlie Schloegel grew up surrounded by the family business. He earned his Universal Design Certified Professional (UDCP) designation and Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) certification in 2012 and became a Certified Remodeler (CR) in 2016. The co-owner and VP of Production, Chris Peterson has 26 years of construction experience. He is a Master Certified Remodeler (MCR), Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM), and Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC).

This award-winning home won the 2019 National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) and the 2018 Silver REMY Winner for Interior Remodel Over $150,000. The project features striking style mixes from modern to vintage with mid-century touches. Its kitchen done in black in white is anything but basic. The soft white cabinets are mixed with the black island and inset cabinet doors on both sides of the range. The warm, luxurious quartz counters have weak gold veining, which ties in perfectly with the brushed gold cabinet hardware.
