It also updated the home’s deck to increase the outdoor space. The second floor featured a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and heated floors.

The firm was asked to remodel the project featured here. Following a series of inspections, the firm determined that it was preferable to demolish and rebuild the home within the existing footprint. The firm designed the new home with an elevated first floor; it was reinforced with concrete piers to protect it from flooding, as the home is located in a flood zone area.
